Following the success of the first edition in 2022, Eurogeographics and EuroSDR are pleased to announce the second Geodata Discoverability Online Workshop, scheduled from January 16th, 2024, 13:30, to January 17th, 2024, 12:30 (GMT).
Key Objectives: This workshop seeks to foster a shared understanding of discoverability in the contemporary landscape by facilitating exchanges between diverse perspectives, including public and private entities, local and global actors, and those within and beyond the geoinformation sector. Enhancing the likelihood of users finding data pertinent to their requirements involves leveraging a variety of tools and technologies that complement each other. Furthermore, the discovery process should be closely interwoven with ongoing application development and data utilization efforts.
