EOSC Symposium 2024

The EOSC Symposium 2024 will be held from October 21st to 23rd, 2024, in the vibrant city of Berlin. Organised by the EOSC Association with the support of EOSC Focus, this symposium will be a critical event in shaping the trajectory of EOSC beyond 2027.

The EOSC Symposium 2024 marks a crucial milestone as it continues the legacy of success and progress established by the 2023 event, previously organised under the EOSC Future project. Building upon this momentum, the symposium aims to broaden opportunities for on-site participation, fostering increased engagement and collaboration.

Under the esteemed patronage of Bettina Stark-Watzinger, the German Minister for Education and Research, the symposium is set to bring together leading figures, experts, and stakeholders in the field. This event will be orchestrated in coordination with the EOSC-A German Mandated Organisation, NFDI (National Research Data Infrastructure), aiming to capitalise on the synergies between the EOSC and NFDI communities.

As part of this collaboration, NFDI will convene a meeting involving representatives from its 26 consortia concurrently with the EOSC Symposium. This strategic alignment seeks to catalyse collaboration and forge partnerships between the target groups, leveraging the strengths and shared objectives of both the EOSC and NFDI communities.
