The AIOTI Workshop on Semantic Interoperability for Digital Twins is a two-day event dedicated to advancing semantic interoperability and shaping the next generation of information systems. Organised by ERCIM and supported by Inria, NEPHELE, and SmartEdge, the workshop focuses on real-world industrial challenges and solutions, with a strong emphasis on the role of Digital Twins in enabling prediction, simulation, and automation.

Establishing a shared understanding of the current landscape of semantic interoperability.
Showcasing success stories and best practices from leading organisations like GS1 and eclass.
Exploring challenges, emerging technologies, and evaluation metrics for semantic technologies.
Developing a roadmap and actionable next steps to advance the field.
The event will feature a mix of invited talks, community presentations, and breakout sessions. It will provide ample networking opportunities and conclude with a publicly available workshop report.
Arne Jørgen Berre form the AquaINFRA project will deliver a talk on the Semantic Interoperability for Environmental Digital Twins and Data Spaces from 14.00 CET on 5th February.
